'Field' - original acrylic painting on wooden panel. acrylic on board 297 x 419mm
During lockdown number 1 in 2020 I walked the perimeter of the same field near my house on most days.  With each walk I felt the field began to take on its own personality and each time I noticed another feature or colour on my old friend. This painting is an homage to the beauty I saw in my field in high summer when the colours seemed so vivid in the way they imprinted on my memory.
